After listening to the recording, I found myself tired. I am not sure if it is because it put me in such a relaxed state that I wanted to fall asleep? or if it was because I was already on the verge. I found the mans voice on the recording kind of creepy yet soothing. His consistency really grabbed my attention and I was able to focus in and relax. Even when I was interrupted by my 6 month old baby I was still able to resume the recording and continue where I left off.
Have a great day!

Chelsey, Since the relaxation exercise is named "The Crime of the Century", his voice being a little "creepy" fits doesn't it? I am surprised you were able to resume after your baby interrupted, but having a six month old, you are right, you were probably tired to begin with.
ReplyDeleteYou will soon find, if you haven't already, that these meditations are a welcome change of pace from the baby. My wife is pregnant with our second child and due to give birth in a month. I'm very nervous.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, meditation can seem extremely boring if you've never done it before. I have a hard time focusing, so the long periods of nothing are hard for me every time. However, if you stick with it you will be surprised what the results may bring.
